[Review] Krave Beauty Kale-Lalu-yAHA (English)
Februari 17, 2018
Hi! in this post I would like to share my thorough review about my experience using a Kale-Lalu-yAHA from Krave Beauty. If you are from Indonesia, I also wrote the review in Bahasa, just click here.
I have been wanting to try this Kale-Lalu-yAHA since its first release (I like how Liah's named this product, so creative!) and I finally got it in the end of January since I ran out of my Neogen Bio Peel Gauze Pad. I am a fan of Liah Yoo because I like the way she educates us to respect our skin by using product that is not harmful for our skin barrier. Thus, I really want to try product from her own skincare line as they promise to respect skin's natural functionality by offering basic skincare essentials.
What it is
Kale-Lalu-yAHA
Skin resurfacing exfoliator that kicks the dead skin cells to the curb, revealing youthful, healthier skin while also feeding it delicious antioxidants from dark, leafy greens. Say good bye to the appearance of discoloration, sun damage and fine lines with regular use.
Notable Ingredients:
Glycolic Acid 5.25% to exfoliate in order to gently resurfaces skin texture and prevent clogged pores. It can also help in fading hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and fine lines.
Dark Leafy Greens (Kale, Spinach, Parsley) to boost the skin with antioxidant along with vitamins and minerals.
Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin B5 to hydrate and soothe the skin.
Allantoin to soothe the skin while bufering any possible irritation during the exfoliation process.
Texture and scent:
It has a very watery texture, thin and lightweight with transparent green colour. The product absorbs really well too. It smells like any usual chemical liquid but very mild (I am not good at describing scent I am so sorry).
How to use:
I put on a cotton pad and swipe it all over my clean face. I use this 2-3 times a week, depending on my skin needs.
Suitable for:
People with any skin types. Particularly with skin concern such as clogged/congested pores, fine lines, hyperpigmentation.
Verdict:
First of all I want to stated that I have been using this for around two weeks. I use it 2-3 times a week and I am already seeing the result on my face.
The first time I was using it, I feel there is a slight tingling sensation but it's completely okay. I have not been using any AHA product anymore since I finished using my Pixi Glow Tonic until this so maybe that's why I experienced it. I am not gonna lie, the first thing I notice from the first time I am using it until now is that my skin looks incredibly nice. It is always well-hydrated, baby smooth and looks supple and glowing whenever I use this. This is the most hydrating exfoliator that I have been tried so far and it makes my skin still look hydrated and glowing until the next morning. How amazing is that?.
After using it regularly for two weeks, I notice that my skin is less bumpy and congested. I do have an issue with my skin texture because my skin is prone to whiteheads especially around the chin. Ever since I use this, those whiteheads are mostly diminished. Well, I do still have whiteheads but they are almost invisible. My skin texture becomes much smoother than before, and this makes my makeup looks flawless :D I am so happy with my skin condition now. As for the hyperpigmentation, I can not really say much because I also incorporate a Vitamin C essence in my routine. But I can see that my acne scar slowly but surely fading and my skin is much brighter than before, so I hope this product also has the role on the process. I just need more time to observe it.
So far I love this product. It is gentle and really suitable for any skin type, even for sensitive skin as it has several soothing properties. I also love how this product fully packed with lots of essential goodness that our skin craved. I will definitely continue using it in my regular skincare routine and I do recommend this for all of you because this product is just amazing and worth it.
Thanks for reading! xoxo
